About Me

Kayaking in Lake Almanor in California
Hi, I'm Audrey Cleveland!

I am a private tutor for pre-K-12 students in the Tucson, Arizona area (originally out of Louisville, Kentucky).  My rates vary depending on location of tutoring. I use research-based techniques and draw on my knowledge of learning and teaching. I am experienced and well-qualified and can be contacted by interested parties via email, phone, or social media.

I have been tutoring for over ten years and have been working in schools for four years.  I began tutoring in middle school through the Minority Teacher Recruitment Program (MTRP) and continued tutoring in high school through the Beta Club.  In college, I tutored over breaks with a private tutoring agency and volunteered with the Every1Reads Reading Initiative.  Since graduating college, I have worked in private and public schools and have volunteered as a tutor/mentor for Kentucky Refugee Ministries.

I have always been very academically-driven.  I was Valedictorian at Louisville Male High School, where I majored in Mathematics. I graduated from Principia College with Highest Honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Global Perspectives.  I am certified to teach K-5 and Middle School Social Studies in Kentucky and Illinois (and soon Arizona).

Please peruse the other tabs on this blog for more information on my tutoring services.  Please contact me with any questions.
